Solar Ascension

This Game was created in the timeframe of 8 weeks by students of Games Academy.

In the midst of the 21st century, Humanity reaches out for the stars. Manage diplomatic ties while constructing mankind's next self sufficient orbital space station with a true 3D building system. Can you start a Solar Ascension?

Solar Ascension is a single player city builder game set in Earth's orbit, where the player can build his own Space Station. Starting out small, the player quickly riles up an economy and soon invites the first astronauts. Over time the population grows and new modules and resources are unlocked. On top of keeping the population happy, the player has to manage the relationships with different factions, each with their own agendas.

Solar Ascension features a true 3D building system, allowing the player to utilise the 3rd dimension and offering new challenges for optimisation and efficient construction layouts. Furthermore, the player will have to keep the different factions in check. Fulfil quests to gain influence and trust, but neglect a faction for to long and some unforeseen consequences might occur.

Note: The game is still in development and some aspects are subjected to change in the final version.
